Htay joined the Dream Team in April of 2021 having recently moved from Australia to NZ with her husband and daughters. Upon enrolling her daughters at Totara Grove School, Htay loved the way the IHAD programme was integrated into the school and wanted to be a part of it. Luckily a role opened up and Htay joined the team.
Htay is highly passionate about the IHAD ethos and values and thrives in being able to support children (and their whanau) with the resources, skills, support and opportunities to succeed and thrive. It's really important that Htay can offer one on one support in and out of the classroom as she knows that this can make such a big difference to how tamariki feel about themselves.
Away from work for IHAD, Htay runs her own online group coaching programmes as a Personal Growth Coach. Htay is a self-confessed 'life-long learner' and is always "geeking out on anything to do with thought and behaviour". In Htay's personal time, you'll see her hanging out with her family, usually on the water with their jet ski.
