Ko Puketohutoa tōku maunga, ko Taumarere tōku awa, ko Ngāti Manu tōku marae, ko Ngāti Manu tōku hapy, ko Ngāpuhi tōku iwi, ko Davontae Bristowe tōku ingoa. I am studying towards a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Minor: Māori Studies). I have a strong passion for performance such as kapa haka. I sit on a rangatahi advisory group under Te Aka Whai Ora (Māori Health Authority) that is aimed to make health services more accessible to rangatahi Māori of all backgrounds. Along with rangatahi Māori I am an advocate for LGBTQIA+ youth, previously being involved with Whangārei Proud a pride group based in Whangārei.
