Pompallier Spreads Easter Cheer
Ngā mihi to the Pompallier community for your generosity, your time, and the aroha you show our Dreamers every year.

At Pompallier Catholic College, students are encouraged to build confidence and leadership through service. Around 30 students volunteer with I Have a Dream each year, many starting in Year 12 and staying with the same group of Dreamers right through until they graduate. Those long‑term relationships become something truly special.
This year, Year 13 students Daniel and Joel joined the volunteer team for the first time, and they’re loving every moment.
For the past three years, Pompallier students and their whānau have also run an Easter Egg Drive to support their Parish community and organisations like I Have a Dream.

On Monday and Tuesday before Easter this year, Joel, Daniel, and their fellow Pompallier volunteers hid hundreds of donated Easter eggs at Tikipunga Primary School for two epic after‑school Egg Hunts.
Dreamers scrambled, climbed, searched, and laughed their way around the school grounds before gathering with Whaea Bailey to count and share the eggs. In true Dreamer spirit, more than a few chose to give their eggs to others, a beautiful reminder of the caring culture they’re growing together.
Ngā mihi to the Pompallier community for your generosity, your time, and the aroha you show our Dreamers every year.
This is what community looks like.
