I believe equity for our young people is key, and that the I Have a Dream kaupapa can deliver that for an entire generation of kids across Aotearoa.

It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to contribute to the incredibly important mahi accomplished by I Have a Dream Navigators, staff, volunteers, supporters, and partners.

With big aspirations ahead of us, I could not be more excited to focus my energy, experience, and skills to support this kaupapa.  Together we will expand the reach of I Have a Dream across the country, so that young people from the far north to the deep south can have the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive and find success for themselves.

Over the last 10 years, I have worked closely with young people who were struggling against challenges and obstacles not of their own making, Initially at Make-A-Wish NZ, I then went on to lead a large social enterprise and medical center, Tōtara Health. Most recently I have pursued and achieved a lifelong goal of joining the New Zealand Police.

I have seen firsthand the incredible impact a small investment of time and energy in our young people can have and I have also seen what happens when they continually fall through the cracks or go unnoticed and unsupported.

I believe equity for our young people is key, and that our kaupapa can deliver that for an entire generation of kids across Aotearoa.
