Kia ora, I’m Reubena and I am the Volunteering & Mentoring Programme Coordinator. My journey has been grounded in working alongside whānau, communities and organisations to support growth, connection and meaningful opportunities. I’ve spent years helping people navigate pathways that align with their goals while also strengthening the capability of those around them.
What drives me is seeing people lifted up, gaining confidence, communities growing stronger and dreams turning into real, lived experiences. I believe in the power of collective effort where everyone has something valuable to offer.
In this role I’m especially excited that I get to manaaki and care for our incredible team of volunteers and mentors, supporting them to share their knowledge, helping create spaces where people feel encouraged, capable and inspired to pursue their life dreams.
