This whakatauki encourages the pursuit of excellence, perseverance when faced with obstacles and remaining humble in ambition.

In all my experiences working both nationally and internationally with tamariki, this is the example I have always tried to set and encourage in others. I am big on helping people to shine their own light, reminding them of their own worth and allowing them the space to stand in their own mana.

What I do isn’t a job. This isn’t a career. It’s a lifestyle.
