Molly Chiuta

I am passionate about creating inclusive environments where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered.

Hello, my name is Molly Chiuta. I have a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and improving the quality of life for youth and children, I am excited to be contributing to the I Have a Dream vision which is making a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and children.

My personal values align closely with those of I Have a Dream and I am passionate about creating inclusive environments where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered.

My experience in teaching the primary learners, training especially wellness courses and support work, coupled with my ongoing studies in social work at Massey University, has equipped me with the skills necessary to motivate and encourage youth and children to make positive choices.

I understand the practical implications of delivering an excellent individualised experience and know how to build empathy and trust with a diverse range of people, and I celebrate diversity. I have over 15 years of experience as a Facilitator/Assessor for organisations in South Africa including St John Ambulance, The South African Red Cross Society, Bridges of Hope and Areka Training.

I have taught in primary schools for over 10 years, mainly in rural areas where teachers were highly involved in the welfare of children mentally, socially even physically. In New Zealand I have been a Support Worker for over two years, experiencing many challenging situations along the way.
