Inspired Dreamers Get To Exhibit
"All ten Dreamers showed up every week, settled straight into their mahi, and made the most of their time in class." Jessie Rose

Another ten talented Dreamers from Tikipunga High School joined artists from across Whangārei to exhibit the pieces they created throughout Term 1 at Jessie Rose’s Inspire Art classes in Te Kamo recently.
Jessie shared that all ten Dreamers showed up every week, settled straight into their mahi, and made the most of their time in class, producing beautiful work to exhibit alongside her other student artists and adult artists, including our own Year 11 Navigator, Rose Welsh.
The Inspire Art classes have been hugely popular since Jessie began offering them in 2017. Over each term, she provides guidance and a creative space for anyone interested in learning and growing through art. She encourages her students to think creatively, explore new ideas, push boundaries, and express themselves through art and creativity.
Our Dreamers are fortunate to access these sought‑after art classes through Enriching Local Curriculum (ELC) funding, which provides authentic, engaging, interactive learning experiences that support the important learning happening in the classroom.
Through this partnership, I Have a Dream supporters, the Wright Family Foundation were introduced to Jessie Rose and now sponsor numerous tamariki and rangatahi outside our programme who would otherwise be unable to attend ensuring more young people can experience the joy and confidence that comes from creative expression.
